The 2018 whale season has come to an end as Southern Right Whales have started to migrate and set course to the Antarctic.
Pre-book to join us for the 2019 whale season when we will once again enjoy sightings of these oceanic giants and offer two specialised boat trips to experience both sharks and whales in one extraordinary day adventure.

Join us for a morning shark cage diving adventure in Kleinbaai and an afternoon boat-based whale watching excursion in Gansbaai, both activities located mere minutes travel apart.

These two back-to-back trips allow you the opportunity to see more of the planets rare marine-life in one day than most see in a lifetime.

Private day transfers are available providing a dedicated driver and vehicle to you/your group for the duration of the day. This allows for an early-morning collection in Cape Town, transfer to the shark cage diving site for the morning dive, transfer to the whale watching site for the afternoon boat ride and transfer back to your accommodation to arrive in Cape Town by early-evening. Whale-watching Trip

Whale watching trips take place from June to December however, should the whales change their migration schedule (arrive early and leave later) we will adjust our schedule accordingly. Generally the trip last 2 hrs, but can be longer depending on how quickly we find the whales.

A typical trip will have you exploring our magnificent coastline and bay while looking for whales, dolphins, sharks, seals and seabirds. Apart from the Southern Right Whales, we are able to view Brydes Whales and Humpback Whales.

There are many Cape Fur Seals, African Penguins, Dolphins, Sunfish and plenty of coastal marine birds to been seen whilst out at sea.

Before each trip, a brief, informative talk is given on what animals to look out for and the route we will be taking. We want our guest to have a fun yet educational experience.

All trips have proficient marine guides on board to answer your questions and share their vast knowledge of the ocean and its creatures with emphasis on the conservation and welfare of these magnificent animals. We offer unique trips that give you the ability to observe some of the ocean’s biggest and enigmatic inhabitants in their natural surroundings.

Enjoy the scenic journey back to Cape Town with your driver or depart at your convenience with your own vehicle.
