Mariaan 'Operations manageress' Mariaan Ritter is our first line contact. She has been involved in the industry and specifically White Shark Diving Co. since the inception of White Shark Cage diving 5 years ago. She has exceptional organizational and personal skills, and controls our bookings and operations out in Kleinbaai! She is very loyal and specifically efficient with all our clientele in a very personal and professional manner.
Phillip ‘Skipper’ Phillip Colyn has been a skipper for the last 25 years! He has been involved in the industry for the last 5 years, and like Mariaan has been a very loyal and fastidious skipper for the White Shark Diving Co. He is by far the most experienced skipper in the waters off Kleinbaai, and is often looked upon for advice on the viability of launching due to weather concerns. There is no doubt that he ensures that the safety of his passengers and crew is of utmost importance.
Coenie Dive Master’ Coenraad Coetzee has been a dive master for 9 years. He has exceptional experience when it comes to the Great Whites, and has had a passionate fascination of them for many years. He has also been exclusively involved with the White Shark Diving Co. since the industries inception 7 years ago. Coenie is an amazing character, and he has become extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the habitat and subsistence of the great white shark, and gives our clients and divers a complete overview of the wildlife, birds, seals and eco environment in which we find this magnificent creature!
'X-man' Industry trainee X-man has joined the White Shark Diving Co. as an industry trainee. His particular passion involves becoming a shark handler with the view of becoming a dive master. He is indeed very fortunate to have joined 'The' Team of Mariaan, Phillip, and Coenie, who are all determined to ensure that he develops into and becomes one of the industries finest acquisitions!
